The growing season is hectic for producers, and grain marketing can get shifted to the back burner. Unfortunately, the time you are the busiest in the fields is often the best time to focus on marketing.
The Zeeland Farm Services Pro Grain Marketing Program allows our experienced merchandising team to shoulder some of that load for you. ZFS offers two options that allow you to turn over some of your marketing risk management to the professionals, while you concentrate your expertise and attention on your farm.
We are excited to offer the ZFS Seasonal Accumulator Plan and the ZFS Market Manager Plan.
The ZFS Seasonal Accumulator Plan is a disciplined approach to grain pricing that allows you to capture seasonal rates at the most advantageous time of year. The program will price a portion of your grain based on a seasonal average from April 15 through July 15, 2017, when prices are likely to rise due to planting and weather risks.
With the ZFS Market Manager Plan, you turn over the marketing of a small portion of your crop to the professionals at Zeeland Farm Services, who will use their experience, up-to-the-minute information and industry insight to manage the complexities of the grain market for you. The program is open from March 1 through Aug. 17, 2017.
